Neil Gellatly established the event company Dare 2 Sweat Events in 2004 in order to deliver quality adventurous outdoor events similar to those that had constituted a huge part of his earlier life when he was one of the Country’s & World’s best multisport athletes. Beginning with a challenging yet fun Mighty Waiau River Race attracting a mere 35 entrants, events have grown in size to the monster 1632 entrant Spirited Women – All women’s Adventure Race. Driven to get details right and exceed expectations, Neil leads a small professional event team which sets high standards for others to follow. Neil and his event company are regarded highly throughout Australasia amongst industry peers, the business community, marshall groups, charities, sponsors, media and a loyal following of event entrants.

Kat enjoys the problem-solving aspect of design and the event company brings a vast array of design opportunities across her desk.
